insect repellent, the list of ingredients is short and completely free of any unwanted chemicals and additives. You could eat it and be just fine. When I use the lotion on my legs for several days at a time, I notice a pretty quick different in the way my skin feels even though it's not typically very dry. I think it will be great to have around during wintertime, and it's safe to use on babies! Katie loves in when I give her a little squirt when I am putting mine on.
